Schools Judo
General
We aim to run all schools Judo classes in the same way that we run our main club.
Each school is set up as a 'satellite' club of Three Counties Judo and therefore runs as a British Judo Association (BJA) club.
This means all children will need a BJA license after sessions, but also means they can access the grading scheme.
Eventually all participants will need a license - after 4 sessions.
However, Three Counties Judo is a 'Pathway' club which means school-based members can get a 'Pathway' membership. This is only £10 a year and gives the same benefits as a junior membership.
However, it is worth noting that Pathway members cannot access BJA competitions, and so if you are intending to enter your child for these a junior membership will be needed.
